Long-tailed Broadbill - We eventually got some good views of this smart bird..

A return to the higher elevations in the park enabled great views of this Long-tailed Broadbill

Grey Treepie   - The only one seen during our trip.


Crimson Sunbird -  
Mountain Imperial Pigeon - Seen at the higher elevations of the reserve.

Pied Hornbill - One of 50 that flew out of a fruiting tree.
Brown Hawk Owl - Heard calling but we were unable to see for a long time.  Eventually Nick persuaded it to come closer and this shot was obtained in really dark conditions.


Dusky Langur - A rather cute youngster.




18th March 2017
Before leaving for Bangkok, we spent a couple of hours in a hide at a coffee shop, close to the park.  The purpose was to see the two Partridges we we had missed so far.  The following pictures were taken at the hide or in the grounds of the Coffee shop.


Greater Necklaced Laughingthrush - One of the first birds to appear in front of the hide. 
Bar-backed Partridge - A few birds appeared shortly after dawn.

Scaly-breasted Partridge - A single bird stayed a short time.

Red Junglefowl - A smart male.

Crested Serpent Eagle - Seen just outside the coffee shop. One of the easier raptors to ID in flight!
Streak-eared Bulbul - Viewed while we were sat in the coffee shop having a relaxing drink!


Burmese Ground Squirrel   

Sooty-headed Bulbul  - Only seen on two days.  


Indian Roller  - Seen most days during the trip.  

Indo-chinese Bushlark   - On wires just across the road from the coffee shop.
